The 15th Anniversary Summer Events Series ends on a high note with the celebration of Learning Through Art's highly anticipated Crown Jewels of Jazz® Hothouse Review on Saturday, August 25 at H.J. Benken Florist & Greenhouse in Silverton. Neighbors from throughout the region are invited to don their elegant summer attire and spend a night in silk, satin and linen under the stars. The Review will feature the unmatchable sounds of three of the region's hottest female artists: Kathy Wade, Tracy Walker, and introducing Thelma Massey. Hothouse-themed cuisine will be presented by Lazy Gourmet, with plenty of hothouse tomatoes, Cajun cuisine, and culinary artistry sure to heat up even the hottest summer night.

Learning Through Art continues its tradition of recognizing two honorees with their annual Heart For The Arts award during this exciting night of celebration while raising dollars to support LTA's Books Alive! For Kids® literary performing arts program. The 2007 Heart For The Arts honorees are Sara Vance, Michelle Waddell and Alphonso 'Zo' Wesson.
