Learning Through Art has amassed a stellar reputation for presenting one of the region's annual highly anticipated signature fund-raiser, Crown Jewels of Jazz®. This year the event goes green with Crown Jewels of Jazz® Hothouse Review continues the tradition of celebrating women in jazz. eloquent black-tie evening celebrates women in jazz! The roster of the legendary women who have performed include the late Rosemary Clooney and Shirley Horn; Dame Cleo Laine with John Dankworth; Dionne Warwick, twice by Diane Schuur, Nancy Wilson and in 2006, Ms. Eartha Kitt.
Learning Through Art recognizes individuals, civic or corporate arts supporters and patrons who work to keep the arts alive for our future, our children their annual Heart For The Arts award. Past recipients include a stellar group who collectively drive the vision of arts in our region:
