EMMY #4: Learning Through Art Wins Regional EMMY® for Sounds From The River – The Live Performance

Learning Through Art, Inc. is proud to celebrate its FOURTH Regional EMMY® Award for Sounds From The River – The Live Performance, recognized in the Entertainment – Short or Long Form Content category by the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The award is a celebration of the creativity, collaboration, and passion that brought this production to life and helped share the rich musical history and cultural stories connected to America’s rivers and waterways.

Sounds From The River takes audiences on a musical journey through the people, traditions, and stories shaped by America’s waterways. Through live performance, animation, storytelling, and music, the production highlights the powerful ways rivers have connected communities and generations throughout our nation's history.

This recognition would not have been possible without the incredible team whose talent and dedication made the production what it is:

  • Kathy Wade – Executive Producer

  • Carissa Ray – Producer

  • Kelly Asbury – Producer

  • Bailey Roy – Animator

  • Nicholas Reece – Editor

  • Drew Thomas – Multicam Director

  • Bruce Wade – Writer & Stage Director

We are especially grateful to everyone who contributed their creativity and expertise to this project, as well as the artists, musicians, storytellers, and partners who helped bring these stories to audiences.

This is an exciting milestone for Learning Through Art, Inc. and a reminder of what can happen when art, education, storytelling, and collaboration come together!
